Patrick Kaas

Patrick Kaas was born, and still resides in the south of the Netherlands, in Eindhoven.

After finishing his study at the Eindhoven University of Technology, he started his photography company PK-Foto.

Specialized in artistic nude, glamourous nude and erotica, publications in magazines soon followed. For a couple of years his main customer is Playboy, with multiple Playmate shoots, calendars and covers for this world renowned mens magazine. Together with befriended photographer Rene de Haan, Patrick Kaas forms a photographers duo, doing many shoots together. The high-point in 2008 when they shot not only the Playmate Mai-Lan (now playmate of the year 2009), but also the cover for the 25th anniversary Playboy edition. In this edition Patrick was also called out one of the 25 best erotic photographers of the Netherlands.

Besides the nude work, he also does editorial, portrait, fashion, children, concert and even the occasional bridal photography. The main form of photography besides nude is for commercials and campaigns.

As a teacher Patrick gives photography curses and workshops. A small summery of the courses: Photography and camera use, studio use, artistic nude, portrait, and making better children’s photos. Workshops include: Portrait, artistic nude, Glamour/Playboy style (Playmates as models).
