When did you become interested in photography?
I was interested in photography since my childhood. My mother worked as a photographer an I grew up in the studio of my grandparents.
Do you have your own studio or are you most of the time working on location?
Fortunately I own my own studio in the center of Vienna, I like to shoot on locations, but it is always good to have a studio for your own. About half of the shots were made in the studio.
Do you have assistance or are you working alone?
There is assistance from make-up and hair artists, but there is no photography assistant working in my studio. I always spend time to do the light setup for my own.
Was It easy to find models when you first started photographing nude?
The models grow with the pictures. The better you pictures are, the better models come to your location. That is quite normal. In the meantime I have several fantastic models to shoot with.
What do you prefer: digital or analog?
I am working with my digital camera, because digital post processing is part of my pictures. Also it is a question of quality, in my recent exhibition there were several really huge color prints, with so many details, you never could achieve with traditional analogue technologies.
Do you have other artist(s) who you admire and inspire you?
There are so many good photographers all across the world. My inspiration comes rather from books, music videos and real life then from all the pictures on the internet.
What is number one on your wishlist?
To make pictures great pictures which touches many people.
